Dipstick is covered in oil

Hey guys. So, I own a '04 Lancer ES 2.0 SOCH with 150,060 miles. When i did my oil change recently, oil was on the necessary part of my dipstick. I was able to get an accurate reading; however, now my dipstick is covered in oil all throughout. Its blotchy here and there so it's kind of hard too read. There are no issues with how my car runs. But there's still a thick amount where I can read whether or not I need more oil. I'm not sure if this is a common issue, or if they're anyway to fix it. I Didn't really find much for info in this for Lancers. Any help would be much appreciated.

May have pressure trying to blow back there. I never had oil all up my dipstick. And maybe your checking with the car running?
