Displaying playlist and track names

I have a 2010 Ralliart with OEM 30GB HDD audio/nav system. Only problem is that the names of the playlists and tracks have to be entered by hand, which takes forever. Since I listen to classical, the db database is useless. But here's the amazing thing:
On ONE disk (ripped from a commercial CD to my desktop CD, then burned from the desktop HDD to a blank CD, then recorded on the Mitsubishi HDD) my file names were automatically and instantly reproduced perfectly (even including a misspelling) as track names, and my folder name was reproduced perfectly as a playlist name. Didn't have to type a single letter.
I have not been able to reproduce this miracle using any other disk, either commercial or homemade. Can anybody tell me how to do it?

maybe it has got to do with the track information not being written at all on any of the other cd's..

i had the same problem, some of my burned disks would have track names and others wouldnt. It has to do with the actual file ID of the songs. Have you updated gracenote? An update is out.
