blue guages
The intelliglow needles use little disc (about 1/3" and practically flat) laser LED's to backlight the gauge faces. They don't actually change the needles themselves. I have a kit sitting next to me waiting to wire up if I ever have the time and inclination. They seem kinda neat, but at the same time I dunno how thrilled I'll end up being with them. They require disassembling your entire gauge pod, wiring, reassembly, needle removal and replacement and use some very fragile copper wire...I dunno. Once I install them I'll let y'all know how it was and how they look.
that kit only includes the lights for the needles. but thought you guys might want to see them. the cool thing is you can just change the lights behind the dash to get the colr numbers you want. and just as a note.. the ring that you see is only a reflection. i only get that ring if i turn my lights all the way down and just leave the needles. but i think they look pretty cool on my maxima.
and yes they are a pain in the but to install. i acidentally cut one of the wires and it was a pain in the but to get it to work again. but hope you guys like. i have also read of changing the led in the window switches.. but that was on a maxima forum. just tossin up ideas
