I e-mailed accolade about the apex 3, they said it was u.s. spec but on body-kit.com it looks like the rear bumper is shaved a lot. Does anyone have any better pics of the kit..mabey a web site or your pics. also if any1 has an opinion on it id like it. thx

 

they KNow what the are talking about... it is US Spec.... the J-spec bumper only sticks out an inch or so from the trunk. this one sticks out 5 or 6 inches.

 

However, us spec may require removing or shaving the styrofoam (sp?) padding. This issue is not a huge deal to some people, but is good to know regardless.

 

The Apex3 bumper is a front bumper, the Apex kit comes with a j-spec rear bumper.

 

I do believe that is wrong... it comes with the same bumper as the EVO 7 COnversion... The only J-Spec bumper they have is the Ken style. I am looking to order the APEX 3 and I have asked them myself.

 

Then why do pics of the kit show a j-spec bumper, and others who have gotten say it's j-spec?

 

No one on here has the APEX 3 yet... it is 'spanking new. You can order any kit with a J-Spec bumper if you want it. If you want an OEM fit bumper (retains the stock crash bar) they have those too. The one that comes with it is the US-Spec..... VVVVV ---LOOK--- VVVV The Yellow one is the Kenstyle Kit

 

all spec bumpers line up. ( body line wise ) the j-spec does require removal of the re-bar. the us spec doesn't.

 

thanks for your help. So as i understand the apex 3 is the front bumper and the rear bumper is off of a different kit but is us spec. Ill be ordering that sometime. thx
