As others have said, take those harnesses out right now! Do a search in the evo forums and you'll see why. Hell harnesses without a roll cage is a bad idea in any situation, let alone with none FIA homologated seats and improper angles. You risk two problems, firstly, your spine being compressed in an accident (the harness won't pull back, it'll pull down) and secondly supporting the weight of the car with your spine (and I'm sorry, your spine will lose).

Please listen to this.. He's not full of it.

It's not a matter of the bolts, or how well you have them belts attached, it's about the angle and the angle of the pressure it exerts. Do a little research and you'll see it's not someone trying to knock you.

BTW, the car looks pretty good, but I have to agree with everyone else.. the tint is horrid.

To each his own though! Good luck!

As you have it right now, you basically have the harnesses being attached to nothing but the seat, so if your seat goes wrong, you're royally screwed. Also, in the case of a roll over or a serious accident, your seat won't be able to collapse like the stock seats can, being your gonna be protecting your seats, not the other way around like it should be.

mod, please delete this thread. The seatbelts will be fixed when I get to buying a harness bar and rollcage combo.

Don't take anything we've said as "bashing" your car, we just don't want to see another person die because of an install problem.

No, I wouldn't care either way, this ProStreet thing is just trying to advertise my car or something for their website.. I have no idea why the thread was being created using my car.. but oh well. Thats why I want it deleted.

I just read the thread... those harnesses don't look safe. I'll take the roll eyes as the equivalent to a kick in the groin. sorry.

I like the car in general. Nice scheme... but for safety. The setup is a red flag for me.
