And maybe lose some of the yellow in the engine bay, its a little too much, maybe a nice red, or even simply black. Also, how are the harnesses attached? You might want to think twice about those, at least if you value your spine. Apart from those two suggestions (and the tint) looks nice, very clean.

i agree every bit with amby if the harnesses go straight down you need to unbolt those and at least take them to the stock lap mounting points in the rear seats. and lose some of the yellow hoses and replace with another color... also the gas door is out of place, need more exterior black or something... all in all i have to give it a thumbs up

lol, how did my car get up there..? hrm, I guess a promo for the ProStreet thing I signed up for. heh. Cool.

Yellow Tint: plz.. it ownz u. My limo tint had to be scraped off--police made me.

Seats: Ebay.. a while back.

Seat Belts: held in by 3/4 inch grade 8 bolts and nylock nuts on both lap sections. Rear bolts go to spots specifically designed for the belts on the mounting bracket (same bolts). **** no I'm not putting them in the child harnesses in the rear seats, I have rear passengers and cargo I need to put back there. They are the bolt in design seatbelts anyways with a 3/4in opening, it wouldn't fit because that is for the snap-in design belt. I might get a harness bar soon though.. but its a waste, I don't race or plan on flipping my car.. anyways, from the 3 or 4 lancer's I've seen flip without roll bars, the roof doesn't even compact, and one was done at over 50mph. If its that bad of an accident though, a stock seatbelt wouldn't be any better anyways, at least I have 2 shoulder points holding me down instead of just flying out the top or to the side. I'm short anyways. =)

I like the CF gas door looks good with the wheels. But I also think the yellow tint doesn't look good and there is to much going on in the engine bay (some times simple is better). Other than that your car looks really nice.

with the belts not mounted at least the rear lap height, its not about you supporting the car with your neck in a accident (which is a possibility but like you said not likely) its about the harness compressing your spine in any accident (not just a rollover accident) which could leave your paralyzed or dead.

+1.... Mounting race belts wrong is definitely not a smart thing to do. You could simply get rear-ended and end up in a wheelchair, NOT COOL.

Over all.... I'm just not feeling the look of the whole car. Pretty much just what every one else has commented on. Just my .02

ok, from the spot mine are mounted, they aren't going anywhere, neither is the seat. In an accident your body moves forward and keeps going when your car stops, it doesn't compress straight down into your butt. If I jerk my body forward, it exerts no pressure on the top of my shoulders or spine, it just stops my chest from moving forward.. in lots of 2 seater race cars that compete at local circuit tracks by my house, thats the only place they have to mount their belts. I've heard of plenty of people walking away from crashes just fine and theirs were mounted in the same spot mine are, I even consulted one of the guys who is on the team that builds for a mazda miata team. They have a harness bar directly down from the seat on the floor of the miata, and they have crashed it before (on accident of course) and had no complaints/injuries. I didn't want the harnesses looking like sh*t and hanging all in my back seats + passengers couldn't sit there.. I might get a harness bar like I said before though. Its really is no big deal. Drop the issue please. If I got in an accident, it would be because I was out of control and being stupid, or the other person came head on at me. Other than that, I drive safe, I'm not rally racing. My risks of accidents are low compared to people who fly around all the time. Lots of my friends who drive stupid have a couple of totalled cars under their belts.

and.. I don't care what you guys think of the style.. woohoo... I don't even know why this thread was created. My style is what I think.. not anyone else. Although, I do get many comments at work and just driving about on how good it looks. All personal preference.

ebay.. but I took them to a professional race shop near me to have bolts sized for the bottom, and the guy there said they were as good of quality the ones he sells for over $400 a piece.. but, knock-off. =( They feel great though and are pretty light. At least 5-10lb less than stock.
