Arrow FedEx Came Today!!!!

Hmmm... what could be in this box from FedEx??

Could it be....

A WORKS Spin Lightened Flywheel?

...and a WORKS CK2 Stage 2 Clutch?

...and a new Throw Out Bearing for my trans and alignment tool?

...and this came a day or two before all that. A RRM Stainless Clutchline.

Now to get it all installed...
I'm making an appointment at a local tuning shop that specializes in Evo's and Subie's. (Godspeed Tuning in Novi, MI) They are going to do the complete install and everything for around 480 bux. I already bought some Redline 75w-90 Synthetic Trans Oil too.

w00t w00t!!! I can't wait. No more POS stock wimpy clutch that slips all the time.

You might wanna mix the gear oil with some redline MTL (?), just a heads up.

The MTL is 80 weight. I got the 90 weight because I went to the dealer and they said only to put 85 or 90 weight gear oil in the trans. But I don't see why it would harm anything.. its not good to mix oils though. I'll just stick with this stuff. It was like 9 bux a bottle.

Yeah I'm just going from what some guy was told directly by redline, I'll see if I can find you the info.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ht=redline+oil There we go. More on topic though definitely give us a full review when you get these installed, I'm trying to decide myself whether to go with the stage 2 clutch over their stage 1, my main worry is pedal stiffness and driveability.

I'll definetly write a full review, even thru the break in period. I'm hoping for a stiffer pedal and way stiffer clutch. Thats how I like it. I want to know its gripping as hard as it can every time I put the thing into a gear. But price.. $950 shipped for clutch and flywheel. It was supposed to be 899, but they thought it would have been the newer TOB, instead it was the older style because of my build date of the car. It was nearly double the price of the newer one.

Nice, are you turbo charged? This will help my setup if I install back my turbo. Can you install it in my car instead? hehe j/k. Let us know with a review!

haha, no I'm not turbo, but now I'm 90% ready to be. Hopefully by the end of my next college semester I'll be ready for just a lil non-IC kit. I just want to get past the slugishness and into a little quickness. Just something to keep up with the others, you know.

don't you hate it when you're eating all the dust? People will start honking at you when you're too slow. It's like you're driving like a granny without a turbo lol

^--haha thx for rubbing it in. lol, but really people don't do that.. nobody around here knows the difference except people that already own an evo or subaru. So usually they are scared cause they think I'm fast. My car isn't all _that_ slow though, it has a little quickness to it. Hey, I can beat my mom's '02 v6 camaro. w00t! .. well really, its nothing to brag about, that car is pretty slow anyways. heh.
