It would be a little different if the car was stock, or had no references in any way to an EVO, but hers does.

Personally, I think women can get away with some mods that guys can't. If a guy did anything in pink, he'd get laughed at all over the place. But I've seen plenty of female owned cars with pink, purple, tons of flake, and other girly stuff who's cars actually look good. I think it's cool that some women put a feminine touch into their cars. I think some go over the top with the girly stuff just to prove that women are starting to play a bigger role in the tuner scene. And more power to them.

Would I put pink graphics and an EVO badge on my car? No. But knowing that lncrprncss is a girl makes it acceptable, and I give her props. Looks good.

Well Said.

Obviously, she could care less about racing. There's nothing wrong with rebadging a car for show purposes. It's done all the time to cars that are not even the same make as the car it is converting to. There was an integra on the show circuit last year that had skyline taillights, headlights, and he even had custom fender flares done to resemble a skyline. It was only natural to have the badges to compliment his conversion. It's not my fault if someone doesn't have enough knowledge of cars to determine the differences between a converted OZ and a true EVO. If I were an EVO owner, I'd be flattered that others are trying to make their car more like mine.

The fact that she's a girl has nothing to do with the badging. I'd have the same opinion and say the same things if this thread were posted by a guy. But the pink graphics is where the owner's sex comes into play. Guys and girls are different, we like different things, and have different ideas about what looks good. I wouldn't put pink stuff on my car, because I don't like pink, and I do think it's a little feminine. But if I see a girl with pink on her car, it is more acceptable, because I realize that guys and girls are different in that way. Girls tuners don't deserve special treatment, they deserve equal treatment. But equal treatment also means that a girl tuner can have a car with a feminie touch if she wants to. Just because the scene is dominated by males, shouldn't mean that a "girly" car can't be considered a nice car.

Uh......ok I'll try to be nice (since you are a girl and apparently thats what we're supposed to do). I think the whole evo badge thing is ridiculous, you drive a lancer with a body kit. I've heard of people doing that to other cars, and I disagree with it as well, everyone knows that if I put a picture of a civic with a Type-R badge on here everyone would jump on it like a fat kid on cake. Sadly the civic example is actually more understandable (Type-R is more like a trim package) than trying to pass off a car as a completely different model (imagine what would happen if a sentra guy put a skyline badge on his car). I hate underglow kits, especially on cars like this, but thats simply my opinion and not really based on anything other than I think they're a waste of money and are a hell of a good way to get a cops attention. The same basic concept applies to graphics, unless your sponsored and have a race car, I just don't see the point.
