Install Xenon Headlights [DIY]

This is probably one of the easiest things ever. Just be sure NEVER to touch the bulb or it will ruin it. Ill make this easy for all of us:

1. Pop Hood
2. Look behind the headlight to find a circluar thing about a couple inches in diameter.
3. Push and turn to the left the little 'turny' thing.
4. Pull out the old bulb carefully, try not to damage the bulb at all.
5. Just pull the old part out but dont touch the bulb because its hot and I burnt myself.
6. Put the new ones back in just like the way you removed the old one.
7. Push it back in and turn and thats all.

- I would start with the left side because there is more room and its easier to figure things out. You dont have to unscrew anything except the plastic part with your hands.

As well... do not touch the new bulbs with your fingers. The oil of your hands can heat up the bulb unevenly in spots and cause it to blow up. Only handle it by the base clips.

Please rename the thread as "how to replace stock headlight bulbs", to avoid confusion.

Question help

I dont know if this is the right place to post such a question, but i'm sure someone will correct me if it isnt. I've had "Silverstars" bulbs for the past 10mounhs (love em!), well one burnt out, so i replaced it. Then i noticed that the one i replaced(driverside) was alot brighter then the other. So, I thought it was just because one was older/used. So today i bought a new bulb for the passanger side just to even up the brightness. Yet, the QUESTION: Why the hell is the passanger side still not as bright as the drivers side(both are new bulbs!)? Same bulbs in both sides. 9007 Silverstars. Could there be more "power" going to the drivers side? I'm at a lose. Any ideas?

I got some cool blue silverstars. but they looked same as stock so i returned them. i put the stock ones back in, ouched all over them with my fingers, scratched them all up putting back in the hole (bad aim lol) and even bent the base of it and bent it back. they never blew for the rest of the time i had them in then i got whatever ones i got now. just take them out and put them back in and see if that fixes the alignment.

Pulled em both out and played with the housing alittle, both installed correctly, tight fitment. The alignment is off alittle(about to fix that) because i just installed the new "black" housing headlights. I parked say 10feet away from a wall. Drivers side is alot bighter white(kinda "hyper" white) then the passanger side is like a stock halogen.

When you say push and turn to the left the "turny" thing, do u mean my left or the housing's left? I can't seem to get it out. I think I cracked the plastic trying to pull that thing out =(. Does it come off easily when you correctly turn the "turny" thing?

When I replace my bulbs, sometimes it's easy...other times, it's hard as hell.
