ok so i have an 04 es and ive seen pics of some 04's with the shaved trunks. i prefer the shaved trunk look thats like the only thing i rele dont like on the 04's so i was wondering if there was a company that makes shaved trunks for the 04's or does it have to be a completly custom job?

 

Do it yourself. Alot cheaper, and it's so easy.

I don't think any companys sell shaved trucks. Maybe CF trucks(some come without a keyhole)

 

yes.... www.ceriousperformance.com makes a shaved trunk for 04+ that does not have license plate in the middle. I do believe its made out of fiberglass so it is lighter then the stock trunk.

Umm. As far as I know. They are the only ones. haha. I never called them. I just ordered my wing and received it in two weeks. Was happy.

correct me if im wrong, but from the looks of it, the 02/03 trunk lids are missing the license plate are and apear to fit on the 04/06 models.

does anyone know if they are a direct bolt up?

 

They are different trucks. The 02-03 DON'T have a place for the license plates.
The 04-06 are completely different. They will not fit in each others cars.

ya i knew the 02-03 wouldnt fit i mean are they pretty much my only option? unless i go to a bodyshop sumwhere?because i rele want to go for that custom look id be the only 04 in ohio with a shaved trunk

 

well it sounds like you have a couple options

• Do it yourself
• Order it online

But using a trunk from an 02-03 model is not an option...
