How long do you think it'll be taking for the prototype to be finished, and you mentioned something about taking off the stock grill so that your kit will fit with our stock hoods. Can you give us a price estimation on the kit and how much it'd cost to shave off the grill?

I really like the Idea of option 1....taking out the front reinforcement is not cool.....what if you get into a crash...but I'd go fot option 1....cars don't pass state inspection is PA with the front reinforcement taken out anyway.
as to everyones comments on making a lancer look like an evo....I say go for it, EVO's look bad ***...especially EVO 7's.....BUT if your going to make it look like an EVO...you better make it as fast as an EVO!!!!!!!!

I'm definitely interested in the spec 1, for sake of keeping the reinforcement bars. Can't wait to see pics, and hopefully it'll be close, especially the front end. Hoping to see that it's got that wide open grill, and VENTED slots above the engine block and intake.

And it looks like you're in a race w/ someone else to get the front end done! Wonder who will get it done first, and more importantly who will create the better product.

depends who does the inspection. before my lancer i had a honda that was completely gutted and i live in carlisle pa. no front or rear supports no emissions stuff ran 13.8 in the 1/4 but as far as the lancer kits go i would want an evo 7 hood without the grill and put the grill on the bumper. basically an evo 7 conversion. not really into hacking off my stock grill but yeah. oh and where are you from in pa? if you need a distributer i work for creative cartunes in Mechanicsburg. And if any of you guys wanna see our work check out the august issue of super street for and article called thunderball. its about an s2000 that we did.
