help on DIY grill project

ok i did this DIY grill stuff, and it turned out like this....i dont like it, you guys probably dont either....can you guys give me some help or whatever on what i should, or should of done! i do plan on painting the chrome yellow, and where you see yellow behind the grill black...

yah the idea is good just black out the back or maybe get some finer mesh that may help

I am so glad I live in alberta and don't require a front plate. SO F-ING GLAD.

I'm in agreeance with everyone else. finner mesh.... maybe even a couple layers???

maybe you could also custom make some sort of fiber glass shileld there that covers the yellow. or just goes behind the mesh. leaving some space for air to come in of course.

or some fish net type material behind the grill so it just helps block out the yellow.... that might look kinda cheesy actually, but you never know.

or how about some good old fasioned black electrical tape??? hehe j/k

I disagree with painting the chrome black, I think yellow would look awesome. After you black out the yellow pieces behind the grill, I think it will look great.

but p if you paint the back of it black than it will look like the stock grill again..... i say make the mesh red to go with the rest of your car stuff and than plaint the back.

black and yellow, w\ hyper black rims (when i get the cash)

and my interior theme was red and black

i think it looks pretty decent. youre on the right track. i would never do anythiung like that. id just buy a new one. that looks like too much work.
