EA Racing seats?
Has anyone bought EA Racing seats? I see them at Pep Boys and RIDE here in Daytona Beach. They look good. Just wondering what people think about them. If I can find some pics online I will post them. They are $159 at Pep Boys and they almost look like Sparco seats. Thinking about getting them untill I get my Sparcos.
IMO seats are seats .. as long as they are comfortable and will bolt into place. I've never heard of the brand .. but as long as your *** feels good while sitting in it, what else matters? My $.02

I don't think it's a local thing. APC makes them I believe. $159 each seat. They have yellow, blue, grey, red, black (i think thats all).

Look like that, but the black and grey is all one color with the black outer marking pieces.

do the apc ones have big lettering @ the head?? and i know sparco seats are the best, or one of the best, but whats the big draw to them? what makes them the best? i would love to get some when i get the funds...
I have seen these seats at Pep Boys as well, and laughed at the people who were trying them out. I mean come on, since when did anything of quality come from the APC section at Pep Boys? The thing about seats is quality of construction and materials, just like any other product. The Tenzo seats are less expensive than the Sparco or Recaro, but the cloth fades within a year or two and often wears through from every day use. Also, you can tell when you sit in these seats what companies do their homework as far as bolstering materials.
Name brand seats like Recaro, Sparco, Corbeau, Cobra, Momo, and Bride all have different comfort levels, bolster stiffness, and material choice. Of course you should go with whatever you feel comfortable with. For $160 a seat, it might be worth it if you get a year or so use out of it while you save money for some quality seats. Now that I think about it, that would probably be a pretty good idea, seeing as the stock seats SUCK.
whoever designed those piles of crap. Every econo box available has better seats than our car.
Any ways, like everyone is going to say, if you like them, then get them. Just don't expect them to last very long. Personally I might pick one up just to save my stock seat some wear and tear before I can afford some nice Sparco Torinos.

the seats at pep boys are made by 3A Racing, they sell some pretty good ****, and i'm debating on weather to purchase these or not. But alot of tuner shops around here were surprised to see pepboys carry the 3A racing seats instead of APC.
