seriously man.. i was just talking to my friend today about painting our roofs black ... we have sheets of black vinyl from our ricer days and we're planning on putting it on tomorrow just to see how it looks with a black roof

I saw a black roof on a silver TC and it looked terrible but then again that was the only thing done in black on a silver car with a bunch of ricey auto zone decals on it. I bet it would look sick on your car please.

 

I can see how that might not look good. haha. I had CF hood first. I was trying to balance the car out with red and CF/black. Having the dark hood/trunk and a black roof will flow nicely I think. tieing it all in with my wheels and bumper painted the way it is.

For sure. It will definitely look good. It just didn't look right on his little rice TC with all the crap he did to it. He had a K&N sticker on it and told me it was super charged. I asked him was kind of super charger it was and he told me a K&N Flow Through Super Charger. I almost died laughing.

 

yeah it is. I saw you post someplace yours is doing the same. Seibon is junk. My trunk is all crappy and hood is cloudy all over. waxing it helps reduce the cloudiness but it really needs to be wet sanded and re-cleared.

 

Or get 15 coats of clear like my hood! lol! Just curious B, how much would shipping be for that old wing to 28544 or 28540? And how much you lookin to get for it? PM me and let me know man.

 

yeah. I shoulda got it cleared before I even installed it but didnt know what I know now. Pm'd

 

regular wax won't help b/c wax is made for clear coats on cars. our cf hoods have gel coats.


you need to get the wax that boat owners use on their boats
