Rack will work, I just swapped my oz rack to a evo one.
don't know about the rear mount. I can say its definetly a diffrent mount, you can see on sits father forward.

evo rack installed above, lancer rack below. (not my car)

from what I see there isn't any difference between the evo subframe and the lancer subframe.

Did you notice a difference in steering and performance with the evo rack.

Eh... my bad for posting them up anyway. I am not done with the build, therefore I keep things under wraps. I just let tidbits out every so often

I haven't got the car on the road yet, I'll let you know. I've herd the evo rack is sharper though.
I will say that if your using the stock doughnut bushings on the evo LCA's you'll need to grind them down about a 1/4" since the lancer subframe is 1/4" smaller in diameter where they fit in.
Sorry mark for using your pic.

so this confirms my question then that the evo and lancer subframe are the same and the evo rack will work with the lancer subframe? turbotime I assume you are doing this swap also is there a thread with your progress?

yes this confirms it for you.
nope not doing the sawp, just doing a full front and rear evo exterior conversion.
Needed the rack and lca's to work with the evo fenders.
Dont have a build thread, figured I'd post pics when its all done.
I may take a stab at the 4g63 awd swap later though.

why spend time doing an awd swap?(major mods r needed) why doesnt anyone think about just using one of those b2 trannies from a gs-t eclipse.. its fwd and mates up to a 4g63..

Well if you are going to do that, you might as well just used the 4g69 tranny or 4g64 tranny.

why would you use a 69/64 tranny. they dont mate up to an evo motor. the gs-t eclipse tranny does and comes off of a 4g63 motor.. only problems i could think of might be axels, but still 2000x cheaper then fabbing up a whole rearend.

Yes the 64/69 transmissions do mate to the evo motor.
There are evo's running 64's with their own transmission.
There is also a ralliart around here with the 63 motor on the 69 transmission... Because they mate to each other.
