My 09 GG

Well i got my lancer on June 30th this year, and so far this is what i've done to her, I've been on project lancer a lot and learned a few things here and there, and this is how my car stands now, there's more to come for the spring, winter is gonna be very small mods, here are the pics..

When i first got the car & Installed 10k HIDs

7 coats of VHT nightshades

Brakes on

Then i got 18" GTS wheels from chetman7 (chester)

Then i got my Apex'i n1 muffler

Then i got my Tein springs

Before

After

3 fingers

Then 2 fingers and now my fingers have to shut since they settled a little.

Not bad dude, not a fan of the tails though. I hope its a manual, CVT and an exhaust would annoy the hell out of me. CVT alone is irritating.

Drop looks good. Like wheels with the GG, looks sharp. IMO i don't like the taillight tint, too dark for my tastes. Car looks good and keep up the mods

It's an a/t not manual or cvt, it's not to bad, even though i do like the dropping of the gears in manual cars.

Not crazy about them, reminds me of the Mazda sometimes and i think I'll save my 400 bucks for something else instead of taillights. Unless maybe they break or something.

Thanks man. Next is a Megan front strut bar, then some spacers and a gts kit hopefully in my future.

Automatic? Since when does Mitsubishi make Automatic tranny 09's? ... You must have a CVT.

Its still a CVT dude, its just not the Sportronic CVT with 6 "gears" that they offer in the GTS.

Nice ride, your car looks like the cousin to mine! I would suggest tinting the third brake light, and the two reflectors at the back to complete the look. And don't forget to tint the sidemarkers as well. I recently tinted the headlights as well, but with a light-smoked tint so the cops don't harass me!

This is what it will end up looking like:

And here's the light out-put on mine, but I went with something a little lighter than what you've got:

I like that much better...

and to the OP, you can tell that its a CVT because when you open it up its smooth and you don't feel/hear any gears changing that you would notice in a regular A/T.

Yeah i always wondered why it never shifted lmao and kept going, hence cvt. Does anybody ever have this problem, when i rev in neutral or in park, When i step on it while revving it shoots up to 5 thousand then goes down to 4 and stays there and doesn't move....p.s it's probably not a problem, just wanna know what that's about.

I want to, but i don't wanna spray it, which is what i did to the tails, I'm gonna order vinyl and spray over that, so when i remove it, it just comes off. But thank's anyway man.
