hey, i just washed my car today and noticed there was some sticky substance on the side of it. i have no idea what it is, and it didn't come off after i tried rubbing it out with hot water and soap. is there any kinda product i can use to get this **** off?

 

i have the turtlewax bug, tar, and tree sap remover...its a gooey liquid in a can...works really good for me...damn bugs are attracted to the yellow car i guess, front end gets covered in the summer. but it removes tar and tree sap really well, so it might remove your mystery substance too

 

goo-gone .. works wonders on anything.. make sure u wax after u use it

 

try just turtle wax and keep rubbing it, that's what i did with my engine bay when they put the undercoating **** on. came out nice, clean, and waxed
