really? because when i got the black cedia headlights, i was running on stock sylvania bulbs, not silverstars, and they were giving me the same light output.. probably even more. now i dont know if it is because h1 bulbs are really bright or my headlights were just angled high, but i was able to see more than stock. now if anyone's worried about decreased light output, just go jump over to the HID bandwagon like me!

i tried doing mine a few days ago.. i got impatient, and there was too much glue.. so i put them back in.

I'll keep mine chrome.

all i did was put them in the oven at 250 degrees for about 8 minutes...that loosened the glue enough to pull apart using a flathead screwdriver to pry parts....just take your time...

those look nice, i was gonna paint my thunder gray...but uh...got in a wreck and passenger headlight is cracked in half and the glass protector wutever was split in half and the other half is on the road somewhere....

not how i wanted to take my headlight assembly apart...my silverstar survived the crash..but the 2 amber lights shattered...

 

Those look nice, I want to do those on my black lancer too. Finally be rid of all the chrome on my car.
