i like the way your shots came out. did you use a flash? or just really long exposure settings? coz it came out really good. btw, how many seconds is your longest exposure on your camera?

it's about a 3-5 second exposure, depending on the light due to this being a normal digital camera (Olympus u-15 digital). i did not use flash, but parked the car under a street light. this gave it ample lighting and a differnt hue to the whole scenery.
EDIT: this pic was taken with my other digital camera (Sony DSC-P1). although it has more megapixels (3.3 vs. 3.2), i think the Olympus one has better picture quality. interesting...
btw that's my other buddy's mini cooper s

i love how your pics came out though.. that last pic in ur first post was edited in photoshop? or just centered your focus on the car while it was moving? [sorry to ask all these damn photography questions, but im tryin to learn how to play with the manual settings]
i switched from the sony p92 to a fuji s5000. i didnt really like the sony at all. even though it was 5 megapixel, my shots never came out as clear as they do with the camera i have now. my fuji s5000 is only 3.1 megapixel, but it records the pics as 6 megapixel. the only thing i dont like is the fact that the longest exposure time for my camera is only 2 seconds.. wish it was 8 at least.. sorry to be OT

the blurred ones are photoshopped hehe, forgot to say that.
that fuji camera take great pics, someone else on here has the same camera and i was amazed at its quality. my next camera for sure will be the Canon Digital Rebel..8 megapixel goodness lol (or was it 6? i cant think right now..) but all i know is that it takes great pics with an addition of a filter. if you can get a filter set for you camera lense, that should be a great addition for daytime pictures. and going OT is ok here, im just showing u guys pics
got questions? just ask.

yea i was amazed at the quality of my camera too. especially after having the sony for so long. that canon camera u want will probably run close to $1000 im assuming? since its a full-out SLR camera?

it's actually one of the few SLR cameras to be under 1000 bucks. i have a couple lenses off my old EOS so i will probably be buying just the body (for roughly $800) or so.

majestic-btw, make sure you have a tripod..if u dont, it's hell
even you pushing the button can make a slight movement, so i would recommend turning on the timer when taking these pics.
