I was about to buy the ralliart grille on ebay for 149.99 shipped + painted. i own a "coronado sand" lancer and i don't know what color to get since they don't come in that color. i am thinking about getting it in black but i would like opinions. thanks guys!

 

can you post pics, i didnt even know that the lancer came in that kind of color. black could look good on it but i think it may be too much of a contrast.

 

Well black might look good.. I don't think that any other color would look good. Maybe e-mail the guy and see if he can special order you a Coronado Sand Metallic Clearcoat A26 grille. Worth a try.

 

Yeah post pics... I would love to see your car before I say something like, "get the red one." Don't, by the way, get the red one... that'd just be bad.

I think you're on to something >> Black RA grille on a carbon fiber hood, cf trunk and wing, and black 17" or 18" wheels. Hmmmmmm....it would definitely be different & sounds hot to me! Quick...somebody fire up Photoshop!!

 

black ralliart grille and cf hood was what i was thinking. already sanded and resprayed the ****ty wheel covers, and eventually will buy black rims. definately want the evo 7 or 8 wing. and i dunno about the cf trunk tho

 

/\ I think it would look great! You rarely see Lancers other than yellow, black, thunder gray, silver, or an occasional white one...basically typical factory OZ colors is what I'm getting at. JerseyLancer02's was extremely cool b/c it was a non-factory color (a sweet blue) and carbon fiber.

By the way...I just got my Ralliart grille from ebay today! Go order one now!!! Seriously...why are you still reading this?! It's sweet and well worth the money. It's so cool to have a grille job drop into place and look sooooo good.

i have finally gotten a few pics developed. only 2 came out. well 2 with a clean car. the other 2 are me goofing off in a lot of water...

~note. they look like crap cuz i had a 100k limit for filesize and i was forced to shrink and crop them. they are all over 1mb originally...

 

that just looks like a munich silver lancer to me. and what are you trying to do in that pic, get hydrolocked?

 

i don't know what the color munich silver looks like. might be similar but it definitely has a gold tint to it. hard to see unless in person or the right lighting i guess. if you would like i can send you a full-size pic, it is a little easier to see. not like it matters all that much. but i do know that it's just not a match with silver paint, like on the ralliart grille.

and no, i was not attempting hydrolock, just misjudged :P
