Here are some pics that are slightly better than the last ones I posted. Yeah, pgmike, I know...my reflectors still stand out badly. :D

looks good..nice and clean...what kind of suspension and tire size are you running?

pgmike Sep 27, 2004 02:44 PM

wheels look much much better in this light, and oyu still need to do soemthing about the reflectors.

black03oz Sep 27, 2004 02:51 PM

I'm using Tein S-techs and running 205-40-17s. Thanks for the compliments...

I know...I know...the reflectors suck. I was gonna photoshop them out just for you Mike.

pgmike Sep 27, 2004 02:54 PM

yeah you should lol, i still need to get mine too, i hate them so much.

black03oz Sep 28, 2004 07:26 AM

mine don't bother me that much, but it would definitely look better with cf or blacked out reflectors.

pgmike Sep 28, 2004 10:13 AM

i was planning on just blacking them out b4 but saw a really nice 240 with a lot of work on it and he had blacked out his reflectors. it really took away from his car bc it looked cheap since it was obviously froma rattle can. now im for sure gettting the cf ones.

Very nice. What kind of wheels are those?

pgmike Sep 28, 2004 12:39 PM

i would consider those wheels in a anthracite 16, but they look kind of heavy.

Thanks...they are Enkei DM5s. They are a bit heavy in comparison to some other wheels, but they serve my purpose well. Plus, you don't see them on every other car.

And yeah Mike, I'm leaning toward the cf reflectors too. I was planning on a cf hood as well, but I'm not sure now...maybe later.

Your car has always been one of my favroits on this site. Maybe because its simular to mine and how I like cars to look.

Keep up the good work man.

pgmike Sep 28, 2004 09:32 PM

you know how much they weigh?

im dont want to lose weight over the front wheels but wnat to vent some heat fromt hte motor bay so am jsut gettinga cf vent.

black03oz Sep 29, 2004 07:25 AM

/\ thanks Danno...i really appreciate that. :)

Mike, I'm trying to find out the specs on the wheels...not much luck online, but I have my local wheel shop getting the info for me. I did find something on another forum, but I doubt the accuracy...they said that a 17" DM5 w/ a tire mounted was 44lbs. That seems a bit heavy to me, so I would rather have confirmed specs.

pgmike Sep 29, 2004 10:22 AM

dont bend over baclwards trying to figure it out, just wanted to know if these wheeks would bea n option for me. thanks tho.

black03oz Sep 29, 2004 12:39 PM

/\ yeah...I was kinda curious about the weight myself...so no prob. I just talked to my wheel guy again...they are 19.65 lbs each for 17s. So, probably 1 or 2 lbs less for 16s.
