Lancers es,ls,oz lowered with 18's pics here
How many lowered lancers out there have 18 inch wheels for shoes? Okay anyone who has a lowered lancer with 18 inch wheels post a pic here and make a comment about your suspension.

not at all, never rubbed and the roads are pretty rough out here, actually i was thinking about lowering it, does yours rub

u wont rub if u have a smaller tire series... u WILL rub when u lower it though, ill almost gaurentee that. good luck, ull have to remove or cut the wheel well lining.

not true i got 18's and lowered like and inch and a quarter and have no rubbing i do get a knocking noise on my back right tire when turning right though, wonder what that is

how many times must it be said.. the WHEEL size is not the cause for rubbing (excepting having incorrect offset). It's the TIRE size that will be the cause of rubbing. If you want any decent ride quality, you have to have a thicker sidewall to absorb bumps from the road. 18" rims w/ a rubberband tire will work just fine, but the ride will feel like crap. With a decent amount of sidewall, the ride will be better, but lowered, it will rub.

I have 18" Enkei RSV's with 225/35ZR18 tires. I also have skunk2 coilovers. I don't have any problems with rubbing, scraping, etc. I love my wheels!
