Just as it says I'm new. Just recently bought an 08 GTS lancer and Love it.

Hope to have some tinted windows soon.. And here in NC they are a real pain about window tint... the darkest you can get is a 35%. Thats almost no tinting at all oh well some is better then none. The other thing i would like to do is get the taillight's tinted or smoked covers to go over them anyone know where to get some?

First, welcome to the forum.

Congrats on your new Lancer. The '08s are a thing of beauty. Even minimal tint will make a world of difference...I'd say go for it.

about the tint, i think you can go darker then legal in the rear

Thanks Everyone for the welcome. Funny thing is me and the other half weren't ready to buy another car for 6 months. We just happened to drive by the mitsu place and decided to stop and see what they had. She saw then i saw it and feel in Love with it. The rest as they say is history.

This one was on the showroom floor.. They had the same exact one on the lot But i never bought a car off the showroom floor before. So i told em you want the sale I'm taking that one.. I watched em drive it off the floor :D
I love driving it its a blast.. A little slow but handles like a dream. :mitsu:

welcome man. U should check out rrm i think they are the first ones to get aftermarket parts for the 08`s

:mitsu: welcome! :mitsu: if you have any questions the people here are great. and they give u honest opinions about doin stuff to ur car. i havnt really gotten to look at the 08's yet, they looks nice! got any pics of the interior? just curious what it looks like.

and about the tint. i'm from jersey and we cant have any tint in the front. but if u tint the back ones slighty darker then the front they done really notice it. so if u want u can prob go a little darker. {thumbup}

lol yeah it kinda looks like you went to the beach or something.but ne ways nice ride.do they have them in black though? i don't remember seeing one.

About 22,615 with all the bells and whistles... Thats the CVT tranny also. Thats the MSRP. So you might get em down lower at the dealer. Mine ended up being about 21 something out the door.. With a 8 year 110,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty... I think.. that mileage is correct. And Gap Insurance..



Nope just that so far..... have to take the modding thing slow this is the women's daily driver.... :crap: Because its the best thing on gas.

Yep... Tarmac Black Pearl Very nice color... I just didn't want a black car... I couldn't keep it clean.. I would be washing it everyday because it shows EVERYTHING :thumbdown
