the front are a direct fit

thats good to know about the front seats. when i get new seats for the evo i'll just put the evo seats in the es. goodluck on finding out about the back seats. i think they look very similar as far as shape but i dont know much about the brackets.

The reason the rears are different is cuz the ES/LS/OZ are 60/40...unlike the Evos. Thus a slight difference in mounting. But I have no idea what would need to be changed. And yes, the fronts are a perfect bolt-in!

I say keep the rear Lancer seats. Who cares if it doesn't match. At least they fold down! That's how I was able to pick up my Recaro's without using a truck. Here's some pics of mine :D

search for my friend adam's (lanceradam) thread--we put evo rear seats in his OZ and it looks great. it wasn't that hard, really. the little clips that hold the underside of the seat bottoms to the car clip into sockets in the body and those can be replaced with the ones from an evo. from there you can drop the back part of the seats and be done with it after some slight modification to the foam on the back--but we took it a step further. there are pics in his thread.
