Where could I get a rear bumper that doesn't stick out as much?

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a rear bumper that doesn't stick out as much as the stock one. At one point I was looking at the body kits from accolade and was very interested in get the full kits but no one ever replied me from there.

Could anyone help me out with finding a rear bumper?

i think most of the aftermarket bumpers stick out

are there any places i could get the stock bumper from the asia lancers?

Asia, I imagine? But seriously, you'd have to remove reinforcement bars there in order to fit a smaller bumper there - not worth it.

yeah i too hate our fat ass! Why cant we have something smaller like the evo, or just other cars like the altima or eclipse? Why do we have such a fat ass? There has to be some smaller bumper or one in the works.

Mouse May 9, 2004 04:32 AM

I agree. most of the others cars in the market DO have a smaller ass than ours. i guess they think we're fat asses here....Its not like I don't want a bumper on my car its just the stock one sticks out too much. it makes the car 1 foot longer....... :ang2hap:

Yes yes, our cars do have alittle bit of a "fat ass" but as is popular in today's world... "asses are in". Look at J-Lo, the woman has made millions just because of her big ass. Anyways, back to Lancers, you could get a smaller "butted" bumped but you would have to remove reinforcement bars and it would end up being much more of a pain then dealing with the big back side.

I can source you australian delivered arses. checkout my profile - this is the stock bodykit we get. You will need to remove the reinforcement bars to make both the front and rear fit.

from memory the arse was about $400usd + delivery.

heh. bloody KK must have lost them with the move. I'll have to go and take some more.

Surfer_Sandman May 9, 2004 03:23 PM

they were actually trying to make the car look longer. it gives the appearance that our cars are bigger than others in it's class

SirK May 9, 2004 03:24 PM

sure, but its ugly :)

Nope, the registry is still in tact, just not up yet (needs more tuning/revising).
