I have a lancer DE, I was wondering if 18x7.5 215/45/18 tires would fit on my car. I assume there is not much different in gts to de?

They'll fit perfectly. Don't forget to make sure the offset matches, though.

Wheels: 18" X 7.5" ASA AR1 Silver w/ Machined Lip Wheels
Offset: +48mm
Tires: 225/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
H&R Sport Springs: 1.4" front drop, 1.3" back drop

Any idea if this will fit on there without any rubbing issues?
Thanks!

Yaayy! But what if I decided to go with the RRM GRIP Springs V2? 1.5" front, 1.4" rear. Any problems there? Still kind of deciding between both sets of springs.

assuming that his offset is +45 on those wheels...

if i got 18x8 +35 with stock size tire 215/40R/18 it should fit according to this site

http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp

by the way thats a pretty good site... does most of the calculation for you and it also tells you about clearance and all

Haha I just posted that on LT.com last night! That site saved me from trying to figure out all this offset stuff which I just can't seem to understand...

EDIT: Maybe it was Project Lancer... either way I posted it on some Lancer site =P

SHOULD still be OK, but I'm guessing. You'll be a lot closer, obviously, but I doubt you'll get rubbing unless it's an extreme pothole or something. You're staying pretty close to stock, so it shouldn't be a problem.

LuDa - I have no clue. I've seen a few people ask about 18.5", but I don't know of anyone trying them.

225 should fit fine Kaiz.

would increasing them to 19s make any diff? as far as rubbing issues and such goes? or just the with is what matters..

ive seen 18x9 on a ES before..dont know how many problems they had

but i guess the only way to find out is to try them on i would guess..
