Konigs are cool but.......I just read specs on the Chrono Evolution 17x7s 16.5 lbs, might cost a bit more but I know they're good and they let me keep with my mainly sleeper car idea; save when I get that carbon fiber hood which will stick out like a sore white

Me too
Hey yeah I was thinking about getting those F1 cups but everyone wants those so I think I have made the final decision to get the larger cronos. Proly in the 17X7s or so. 17s should do fine. If you guys have any advise on tires though let me know I know nothing about tires and the measurments.

Depends on how heavy your foot is....also depends on how easy you want your car to slide. Harder rubber compounds will give you more spin and last longer softer compounds will hold better but have shorter tread wear. I personally like the Michellin Pilot series good all around tire 80K Mile spins like anything and catches without hop slides on command however the Yokohamas seem to be the favored tire Parada or A350 I think however you'll need more power to get them moving. It all depends on your driving style you might try asking those more experienced in the world of tires like their manufacturers hotlines.

yeah konigs are pretty good...i have 17" konig trouble rims... and i've hit a good deal of pot-holes with mine... i think hitting a pot hole hurts you more then it does the rims.... and the thing with rims.... you won't know the number of pot holes there are on your daily driving streets untill you get rims....

I dunno why you dug this up to tell us how strong you wheels are, but for a point of reference I bent a 17x7" Rated-R and popped a Parada Spec-2 on a pothole last year. Still holds air. Bent lip. Anyway, I'm gonna close this thread and let it die peacefully.
