Info needed for brake shoe replacement...

Only 1 link to a .gif that no longer works and 1 post about using a couple screwdrivers could I find. Could someone post a visual, a how-to, or something about how to get these squeeking devils out/off?

Thx

BTW, this is for my '03 OZ...might I add I hate drum brakes!

LOL...I try to help when I can. I would recommend that everyone buy the service manual CD on eBay. It's been very helpful for me in the past.

The rear brake section is like 7 pages, so it's too big to post. Just PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. If anyone else wants it, feel free to do the same.

I would, but they're too big. I think the attachment limit is like 100k.

yeah, the limit is 100k... which sucks for stuff like this.

either way, you're not going anywhere soon now are you? hehe.

LOL...no....not that I'm aware of. I'll keep this car until it falls apart. Eventually, I'll get an Evo also, so I'm here to stay.

i bought the same manual on ebay and i really don't like the explanation/walkthrough for removal and installation of the internals...springs and what not. anyone else have a more thorough step by step process? personally, i'm stuck on putting everything else back on, especially figuring out how to get the shoe-to-lever spring and retainer spring both on.
