MOOG K80374 Sway Bar Links and Whiteline Swaybar BMR79

just installed these two parts but where the links connect to the sway bar i can't turn the screw without turning the link bolt. what am i doing wrong?

That part number says it is for and Evo. Post some pictures?

Thats very possible, i ordered them from Rock Auto. They do fit however i just can't seem to tighten the screw that connects the link to the sway bar.

I'll get some pics up when i get home

Here is the pictures! There is also a small clunk or click noise coming from that area. It may be the bar moving on the end-link bolt? or it may be banging into the stock muffler as the passenger side perch is snugly behind it

Hmmm, the progress swaybar I have just has the straight vertical endlinks on it like the front of the car. I've got no hands on experience with that bit of kit there.

I looked at the part on moogs website and if it looks like this:

It appears to have a space for an Allen wrench on the end of the threaded bolt. Might try putting the propper size in there to keep it from spinning and then using an open end wrench to tighten the nut down.

it came with an alan wrench type key that fits in the back, but that doesn't keep the bolt from spinning unfortunately. i tried that
