Nice....I have used the same calipers for my upgrades, however I am using 2002 Mini Cooper S rotors. Rear calipers. Got all the upgrade info from 89mirageman. Hope this info helps someone else on here planning to perform this upgrade. Thanks.

I'm using the same setup on my oz. I did have to shim the caliper bracket out about .05 or so to get equal clearance around the rotor. Was hitting on the inside of the bracket on the sportback rotor.

I have an 04 Sportback Ralliart (all of the North American 04 Sportbacks have the 2.4 and the same brakes).

Would these calipers bolt right on, and would they add any braking force to my car? I would like to find a bigger rotor that would bolt on, without spending big bucks for the 13 inch rotors, 4 piston calipers, and a new set of tires and wheels to fit over them.

Yeah the calipers from a 2g awd dsm will fit. If you have the 5 lug, you can even run the rotors from the 2g dsm. I believe they are the same diameter though

People have been skeptical about this upgrade, I must say this actually works. I don't have any numbers or analytical data that states or proves my statement but in all honesty I don't track my car. Frankly, I don't plan to. However, based on all round brake pedal feel & stopping distances, they have greatly improved.

Mine has as well. The braking is far superior than my 2013 wrx is. This is the way the lancer should have came, the stock calipers were a complete nightmare

I'm going to keep an eye out for some calipers. I recently did a budget big brake kit on my 99 accord coupe. All bolt-on using stock Honda/Acura parts: Integra Type R calipers, Vtec Prelude rotors. Already had rear disks; left them stock. The stock 15 inch wheels still fit, and that car stops like a slammed door now.

I'd love to find some way to do a similar upgrade with stock parts, including bigger rotors on my Sportback.

I'm still trying to sort this out. Currently trying to determine if the 05/06 Outlander Calipers, brackets and rotors would bolt on to an 04/1st gen Ralliart. The rotors are 11.7 inches (stock ralliart is 10.9).

We're talking about using the Second Gen DSM brakes on the Ralliarts, but the DSM guys are upgrading to the Outlander setup.

Sounds like the outlander stuff should bolt right up. Being that the ralliart is 5 lug. The rotors should fit as well. Main concern would be wheel clearance

Yes, they are the same bolt pattern as the lancer ES and the right diameter for the 2G brakes.
