Stock end links for drilled sway bar?

Hi All,

Am hoping one of the experts who've done this might shed some light.
I'm considering drilling new holes in the front sway bar of my 2011 GTS in
lieu of installing a new one as that job is an obvious PITA after finding a
very well-written how-to for an Evo elsewhere here. My question involves the
stock sized end link possibly being too long and needing to pre-load the bar just to hook it up into the new hole. Am I wrong? I believe it to not be a good idea to pre-load the sway bar unnecessarily, but hey what do I know?

Whiteline does sell an adjustable front end link set for $55 or so, an
affordable alternative if necessary, but would prefer something with a
grease fitting like Moog's OEM type links....

Thanks in advance!
