Hanged brake rotors and pads now car won't start

I drive a 2013 lancer es. I changed the brake rotors and pads. Didn't disconnect any lines or mess with anything under the hood apart from the brake fluid cap. Now the car won't start and is doing this odd turn on and reset thing where all the dash lights come up and then turns off and continues to do this as long as the key is in the on position. any help would be great.

1. Coincidence? Not related to brakes at all. Check battery cables & grounds. Check battery voltage.

2. When you reset the caliper pistons you shot brake fluid out of the master cylinder cap which messed up connections/grounds?
