Eibach Sportline Springs.

Alright, so i've looked throughout this website and others and the same question still lingers in my head...

i have an 09 lancer gts. i've been looking into buying the eibach sportline lowering springs. i tossed between coilovers the springs. but i just dont have the money for the coilovers, so springs will do just fine for now. Here's the problem. I know i'm supposed to get the alignment done after i install them. but do i need to get the camber bolts? i've heard yes and no but don't know an actual answer. also, if so, where can i get them online? if anyone could hook me up with a link it'd be great.

hey welcome to the forums.

I have the same Sportlines, yes you do need a camber kit for both front and rear.

Fronts are easy to find and are pretty cheap if you ask me.

The rears wear a little more difficult to find, and they are also more expensive

https://www.upscaleautomotive.com/p-...art-turbo.aspx

you can find way cheaper rears but its marked for the ralliart, im not 100% that the de es and gts share the same set up; but the $50 difference is worth further research.

if you google "rear camber kit 09 lancer" and click shopping you will find a bunch. good luck.

PS i still dont have any camber kits:mitsu:

after looking it up on multiple sites im pretty sure that the white line rear camber will work with other lancers. i noticed that they have the same model number (KCA329) which was the same on other sites. then i found the application list from whiteline which confirms that the rears will work on other lancers. there are guys on 9G that have them.

heres the cheaper link

Coilovers. Springs are basically for looks, and will degrade your strut performance over time. A quality coilover with dampening adjustment and a decent spring rate will last you a good while and you never have to compromise on performance.

i've had my tiens on for a year, no camber bolts or anything, no problem..running 18x8+30. about to get a 15mm spacer too.

I just got Tein S Techs and I was wondering the same thing. Do you have uneven wear on your tires? I'm looking into a chamber kit too. Tein S Tech are 2" drop in the front and 1" in the rear. I'm guessing a front chamber will be needed, but not 100% on the rears.

+1
Springs alone installed and aligned = approx $500
year later - dampers, installed and realigned = $1300
Total = approx $1800 + headaches

Coilovers installed, set, and aligned = approx $ 1700
save yourself the time, money and frustrations and get it done right the first time

Im thinking about the pro-kit....1.2" front and .8" rear. Camber kits still needed?

I didnt replace my camber and so far so good on my car. I did replace my shocks though.

Here is my lancer on eibach sportlines....rim specs are 18 x 8 + 35
they are pretty good springs as in ride quality and a good drop for looks...but for the real deal get some coilovers ! i just recently ordered megans but there on a 2 week backorder :(

personally, I don't think camber bolts are needed. The front camber is adjustable, and a good alignment will get it pretty close to normal. The rear is not adjustable without a camber bolt. But even when I was on Teins, my alignment tech didn't think it was a big deal, and didn't think the camber wear on the tires would be very bad at all.

And to be honest, I have yet to see a lowered lancer showing camber worn tires.

I have sportlines, that I am installing this weekend. I have talked to many people, and have friends that are into auto body and all that, You do not need the kit, its is recommened, but deff get it align after, and you will pretty damn close to factory specs.
