Just installed stainless clutch line

I just installed the RRM stainless clutch line. Once installed, I noticed that I was missing the little piece that is in the picture. I drove the car with the new line and could not feel a difference. I am hoping once I get the piece that I need, I will feel a difference. Look at attached picture to see what I am talking about.

Found out today that the little piece that I was talking about is for the old style stainless line. The new line doesn't have the small fitting. Thanks RRM.

After a few days with the line on, the clutch feels a little better.

Well, to be honest, I'm glad to hear that you don't feel a whole lot. I'm not missing out on much.

Any pics of it installed? I want to see what I was doing wrong.

I will try to get pictures this weekend. I am finally going to buy a new digital camera. What do you think you were doing wrong?

Best guess I have is that you only replace a certain portion of the line. I assumed it would go all the way from the clutch to near the reservior. So I'd assume that you only replace about half of the actual clutch line (which sounds gay to me).

So what's so special about this mod? It's supposed to stiffen up your clutch? Can you tell a difference?

After driving it around for a few days, it feels a little stiffer. It all I can afford right now until I can get a heavier clutch.

Did you bypass the clutch slave modulator? I hope that's the case. I was thinking about buying this but if it doesn't stiffen anything up it seems useless.
