Hello.
So your car bounces off the Rev Limiter when you try to run a 1/4 mile?

I don't follow. Is this just a complaint about the low-end bog in these cars or is something else happening here??? If this is about the low-end bog here's some info:
Until around 3k rpms the 2.0l engine is.... oh how do I say this... a slug! After you can feel it pull a little, but still not much. There are a few performance mods that will "help" in the low-end, but there's no miracle fix. Search through some of the forums and read up on the different mods available. All I can say is read read read and speed will follow after education!
Welcome!!!

Just read it again and noticed your have a Front Wheel Drive car. Wheel hopping is bad so don't do it - let it out when it starts hopping.
You will have to play with the suspension, tire pressure, and a lot of practice to get it to launch right.
Then again, don't try to hard to drag race a FWD car! :}
