Yo old thread I know but its my thread so . Has anyone found any alternative lsd options yet for 02-03 lancers? Did my first autox saturday (did crazy good btw) but having open diff means I cant lay on the throttle until I am all the way out of the corner or spin spin which is hurting my times for sure.

I've been poking around the overseas Mivec forums and for their 92s they use Cusco & Kaaz's there. If they have the same gear box as 93s and 94s...we may be in luck.

Yeah I have been poking around the mivec forums alot too, been looking everywhere for an lsd. If I dont find one soon then I should have enough saved to just buy a new one from Kaaz.

Hey guys does anybody know what the differences are between the clutch type LSD from KAAZ and a gear driven one like Quaife? Reliability, effectiveness etc.

Anyone have first hand experience with the Phantom Grip? Only those with first hand experience no he said she said. I realize this is definately a poor mans lsd option but I am starting to worry I wont be able to find one. Every place I have contacted they cannot get them or do not know when they will be able to get them again. I am calling rrm monday it sounds promising that they may be able to get one but it sounds like its going to be $$$$$ and if its gonna cost $1500 for one I may take my chances with the $300 PG option.

So Kaazusa finally got back to me and said they dont stock the dbm2050 anymore but they can still get it, it would be about a week or two out. My question though does anybody have any experience with this unit? I trust Senate's knowledge probably over anyones here (no offense) but I still dont want to drop $1200 on something unless I can confirm that it will fit.

Was thinking about the phanton grip option for you as well. No first hand experience, all I can say is the write ups back in the day for the sentra se-r in turbo and high tech / sprt and compact car got great reviews and I considered it at one time.. Simple and reasonably inexpensive---sound like what your looking for. GL.

03lances ended up doing a how to on the LSD swap. If I remember correctly, he used the phantom grip 903 xtreme.

How much? How many miles on it? How well did the car hook up with it compared to stock?
