CVT Worries Me....

Thanks for your input, but it's been about 2 months now with my 2010 Lancer GTS, M/T and i'm loving it. Plan on getting a Greddy SE exhaust for it and a Intake for it when i'm done with the exhaust. I think I will replace the spoiler with something more discreet. Rims will do for now 18' they're pretty decent.
Canadians unfortunately do pay more for vehicles opposed to what Americans will pay for theirs. Even though our dollar is worth abit more, but thats a discussion for a forum elsewhere haha.

Most definately! Where can you get this mod? As a CVT owner, I know exactly what you mean by the undercompensation that takes place when you aren't flooring the throttle.. Are there any particular mods that people are getting (bolt-on or not) that make noteable differences? Too many people recommend putting on parts that make nearly no noticeable differences at all.. and too many people do not offer a sound science when it comes to precisely how much HP/Tq gains you can expect in aftermarket parts. I am gettin frustrated with the "it depends" answers that I'm getting lately..
For example, Injen CAIs say up to 10 to 12 hp gains.. well what is it really?... How much variation can you really expect from two base engine types for a 2011 car?
