RRM intake installed....question?

Installed my RRM intake and noticed that when I was parked my car would idle till it died......I believe this was just because I was running incredibly lean fuel mix.

I proceded to reset the ECU and so far have not noticed a problem.....although I can tell the intake is still trying to be reconized by the ECU.

Did I take the correct method to reset the ECU?

to reset it you disconnect the battery for like 15 mins. put it back on. start the car and let it idle for a minute or so. don't rev it. then start to just drive normally. again, don't try to rev it really high. also, make sure taht the MAS is on the right way and that it is plugged in. many people forget to do that when installing their intake.
