Question SRS Airbag Light

Does anyone know how to reset the SRS light or the ECU completely?

I know of a battery disconnect trick but was wondering if someone knows anything else...

Problem is they are giving me a hard time since I installed a remote start in my car. The mechanic was "so good" at electronics, didn't want to bet me that if he reset the light it wouldn't come back on.

I had 100 bucks on it

If the SRS light won't go off period, the problem lies within something related to the SRS system. A reset should have worked if the problem was just an accidental tricked light. Make sure your installer didn't cross anything etc. Always the option as well of getting your codes read as well.

pjal84....

I am asking how to reset the light because it has never been reset. The dealer is trying to charge me $85 to reset it.... I will not pay that for a stinkin light.

If that's the case, unplug battery. Wait a few minutes, plug battery back in. Let car do it's thing for a bit and voila. Done. Same ol', same ol'.
