Oh Noes! My Cruze Controlz!!

My cruise control is brokon, and no longer works. I have no idea why or how. The light lights up however there is no catch on the cruise control(accelteration or holdin the speed) so im dumbfounded with dis. anyone have problems? or soluzions?

Verify the vacuum line that goes from the cruise control vacuum pump to the lever assembly on the throttle body is still connected and doesn't have any leaks.

If you check all of the other stuff and still nothing works...it might be the CC ecu. I've got pics of where and what it is if you need them. Just PM me if nothing else works. Good luck.

there is a wet spot around a hose on the left side when looking at the engine close to teh radiator. But i think thats powersteering

if it was a CCU problem how much of a fix is taht? can't i just reset it?

It could be the actuator, could the CC unit, could be just the switch. you got to grab a voltmeter and start probing for signals from the switch to ecu at least.
