P0135 CEL 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES
I got a P0135 CEL...
1.changed the oil
2. changed the spark plugs...
After about 2 hours of driving it and 4 ignition on/offs the CEL went away... Just thought I would share... we will see if it stays gone --- next step would be the o2 sensor...

yes I did notice a mileage difference, I usually get around 430 miles to a tank, but it was only seeming to get about 390-400 a tank during the previous week leading up to the CEL ... ran a few more tanks thru it since the light and the mileage is up and down , im guessing the front o2 sensor is probably bad or going bad... although the stuff I did got rid of the CEL I guess its just enough to hide the problem...

update, I just got another tractrix cable and the dtc is still there its not enough to trip the cel but its is still there. you can clear it with the tactrix cable but it comes right back up as a dtc.
The O2 Sensor heater is most likely bad. If it was cold out (ie <45°) you'd probably set the MIL=on within 15 minutes of starting the car. Check the heater circuit resistance when the car is cold... if memory serves me correct it should be between 4-7 ohms.
