I dont have the factory manual handy, but chances are the steering angle sensor is broken. If the wheel was turned what not connected to the vehicle, that could have broken the ribbon inside the sensor. Either it will require a reprogram, or it will require a new sensor. I would talk to the dealership and see what they say about this.

you HAVE to take it to the dealer. More than likely it is broken. You need a new one. And guess who has to program it!? You cannot fix this.
