Can't get the car to start but half the electricity works!

I recently installed was changing out some bulbs inside my cigarette lighter and I think I touched the ring around it with the power on and when I tried to turn it back on the entire center console wouldn't light up anymore except the screen on the radio and the clock comes on and gauge cluster and dome light but nothing else lights up inside car. So then I unplugged my undercar kit from the battery to see if that changes anything and then the car won't start anymore even after I try pluggin them back in. So i test the battery a walmart and they say its fine, so then I plug it back in and realize the back tail lights also won't work and the right parking light, but they work when you press the brake and reverse, and I changed out bulbs to test it, and the doors won't automatically lock and unlock properly. so its like half the car is getting electricity and the other half isn't. and I did check the fuses and wires. what else could it be?

my friend put the wrong bulb in one spot on his 94 BMW....he used a single filament and he was supposed to use dual filament.
Some lights wouldnt work all over the car, others were stuck on and all his rear lights blinked together when they shouldnt.

Make sure you used the right bulbs wherever you put em. Its hard to believe how something that simple can screw the whole car up.

thanks I got it, it was just a fuse all along, my friend didn't notice one of them broken and a cable was unplugged under the dash. now it all works again.
