Dash Lights don't work
My dash lights don't and all my fuses are good. Has anyone else had this problem?
|
umm..i have no idea lol
idk about ur car but my 03 has a wheel on the left the dims the lights and what not..maybe that? sounds stupid but ya never know |
^Yeah, I had that happen to me after Armor All'ing the interior...I had scrolled the knob down and for a second flipped out.
|
I tried that after i noticed but it did do nothin. i even tried un plugin it and plugin back in.

check the fuses. Maybe a fuse went.

For SAGs, just replace the proper fuse for the dash with another one...a fuse can be bad and not "blown".

My check engine lights and lights like that work. But the back lights don't. I did have a short some were on my passanger tail light and just ended up splicing a new wire into the fuse box but i don't think it would be hooked up to my dash lights?

Does any one have a dash cluster pin out.
|
FWIW I'm having the same problem and the only thing that affects the instrument cluster lights is to unplug the dimmer switch. Spinning the wheel doesn't do anything. I think I saw a quick burst of light from the cluster before everything went really dim (so if you regular folks turn your dimmers all the way down, you'll see what I mean). Maybe they go bad? I can't figure out how to get mine apart without destroying it. I'll post back if I find anything.

I figured mine out the dash lights are on the passenger side marker lights and my switch when bad to so i just bypassed it.
