Odd squeal when wheel isn't turned
 

Whenever I'm not turning the wheel, there's a faint "eeeeee" squealing sound at a consistent volume. When I start to turn the wheel, the second that I turn it about 1 degree in either direction it stops until my wheel is straight again. Any ideas?

Do the basics first. Check steering fluid level and belts.
