If it's not one thing, it's 6.

I just got my ViS carbon fiber trunk in today, and after getting the old one off, I started to take out the taillights to put them into the new trunk, and realized they didn't drill holes for the screw fasteners....

Looks like my goal of getting it on before work isn't happening, and now I get the pleasure of drilling a minimum of 6 MFHs (mother******* holes) sometime soon.

My CF hood comes in tomorrow as well, and I doubt they drilled for windshield squirters, so that'll bring my total to at least 8 MFHs....

I hope I don't mess this up. I spent like 1300 total on this stuff.

Thats odd. I use to have a ViS carbon trunk & hood on my 95 mustang, and both pieces came pre-drilled and even included hardware.

Don't be scared to drill though, it wont be as bad as you think. Just take your time and measure/mark the holes perfectly! Also, post some pics!

i hope you didnt get a knock-off.

My vis stuff always was pre-drilled. Tha'ts why i bought their stuff

Nice buy. I''m looking forward to buying a carbon fiber hood in the future.

Question- what's the weight on those parts.

I've got the Hood on now, though it wasn't drilled for windshield squirters...

The trunk is authentic ViS, so no worries there.

Don't worry, I'll post pics up when it's done, especially now that I have a nice camera...

Sounds nice. I've been looking for CF for my GTS.

Any idea if carbontrix is worth it?
