intermittent hard starting

I have a 2011 Lancer ES that has been hard starting, sometimes, for about 8 months now. I have no codes. It doesn't matter if its a hot engine or a cold engine, hot day or cold day, rainy day or sunshine.
I am really at a loss at this point. I thought if it were the fuel filter or fuel pump it would happen all the time. So the fuel pressure should be good. It runs fine once it starts.I thought maybe the TPS but the symptoms are way different. I'm not too familiar with this car because it's my daughters and she lives away.

If anyone has any knowledge of this problem I would appreciate any feed back or guidance
Thanks

I had a similar problem recently and it turned out to be a leaking injector. Spark, timing, compression, and fuel. If one of those things are off, it will not start well. Cam Angle sensors and crank angle sensors could cause this issue as well, but those normally post a code.

Do you have any more details, symptoms, or info? It's hard to guess by what you've listed. It can be sooooooooo many different things. :crap:

Thanks for the reply pal215. I will take a look at the injectors, and plugs.
The no codes is throwing me. I have to switch cars with my daughter so I have the car handy to work on and drive .
Once I get the car for a week or so I should be able to provide more details as to the symptoms (KAJ). Hopefully its an easy fix.

Thanks I appreciate the replies.

Good luck, man. It's definitely no fun chasing a gremlin.
