Radio and A/C dash light won't turn on
 

Hi all,

I have a small issue where my radio and A/C dash light will not turn on when I turn the head lamps on at night.
The main miles dash panel is working, it is just the light of button of the radio and A/C will not turn on, so you can see what you are pressing
The radio and a/c are also working.
I thought it might be the fuse, I replaced the fuse with the light lamp symbol, but that didn't help and also in the fuse box below the steering wheel
Also removed the radio dash panel and the connectors are ok
Might anyone have an idea what it could be?

Is your dash light adjusment cranked down?

Mine went in for service and came back with the lights off

Thanks for the reply Gordonctrl, but that wasn't it.
I pressed the button, only the dash with miles and rpm went on and off.
It is really strange

only thing i can think of is the swtich in the turn signal stalk is bad or has a short. That's about all I can think of without being there and tearing your dash apart
