RPM's falling backwards
When im cruising at 45 and the rpm's are at 3k they start to fall back quickly like the car is flooding or getting too much air?
|
You were probably going up a hill in to high of a gear. Downshift.
|
good suggestion Paul.. but.. how did you know he doesn't drive an auto?
|
if going uphill isn't the answer then definetly go check this out at dealership.
A-Tone, I'm assuming because if it was auto and the rpm's started falling it would downshift, just like Paul suggested. |

Wow, a slushbox having that problem.
Probably a sensor malfunction. |
Bahamut...you are right .. last night while idling in traffic the ses light came on and I dont know why.
I did have a slight mod but took it off 2 weeks ago and I drive 100 miles a day so the censor should of reset by now :dunno: and the rpms would fall backwards on a slight incline but the motor was not reving high...just around 3200 and then just starts to fall backwards slightly and it would continue to fallback until i gunned it |
Have you reset the ECU yet?
|
No..I am going to do that today.
