new project car

Talking new project car

ok so i just got a GREAT deal on a new project car. I bought a 2003 Focus SE with 40k miles on it for $4700 drive out price, great huh? ok so now ive been looking around on the net at different options. i got a budget of about 5000 bucks to invest in it, any ideas anyone?

Take it slow.. But check out some of the Ford Modular V8 or Cobra conversion kits coming onto the market for the car.. Shouldn't be too difficult to find a drivetrain, Axle, and installation kit for around that price..

I agree. Something around 5.0L. RWD conversion. RS's suspension. If I had a few bucks to waste, that would probably be my project car.
